The works for building started in 1905, it was opened in October 1906. The style remind to the Renaissance style mixed with neoclassic style. The corner's design was a copy of the National library in Paris by Henry Labrouste. The basement was covered by Dikili stone and decorated with frescoes by Ernesto Smeriglio in collaboration with Rigorini and Verdoja. The building was demolished for the construction of a new road.
