Italian hospital and girls' school in Damascus, Syria (1925)
Description
There are two others projects for this hospital : the first was by Giulio Barluzzi (1912), the second by Stefano Molli (1913), father of Piero. The design by Piero joins together both of the two functions (hospital and school) in the same building wich has a U shape and which has a chapel in the middle. The design referred to a simpler XVI° century style marked by the tympanum frames of the windows and roofing with brackets.
