Water tank, Port-Said, Egypt (date on the document: 27 June 1914)

Description

Plan of a 300 cu.m. tank on a metallic pylon. The plan shows a water tower with pyramidal built-up support beams (including attractive v-lacing) and its cantilevered tank. In 1894 Baume & Marpent offered this type of construction to The Raswa Water Company (Port Said) and entered the Egyptian market.
