Kosheshah bridge, Fayoum, North of Beni Suef, Egypt (c. 1909)

Description

Assembly of the bridge’s archs was operated with the support of a wooden structure as shown on the picture. The bridge was assembled with the help of a local workforce under supervision of Baume & Marpent engineers, such as Engineer Rifflart who used to be the Egyptian Division’s Director
